Tom Brady said what…?

Thursday, May 13th, 2010

Will- Tom Brady told a Boston area radio show that he didn’t think the Pats were “mentally tough” and called out the younger members of his team saying that they were unwilling to “buy in” to HC Bill Belichick’s system. Brady added “when the going got tough, we didn’t get going.”

While I think that former Pats MLB Teddy Bruschi was one of the most overrated players in the history of the game (Kurt Warner is right up there too), he was a great leader for the Pats’ defense during his tenure in New England and NEVER used the media to call out his own team. Brady, who spent most of his off season in LA and missed more then two weeks of OTA’s needs to shut the fuck up and prove that he is still a top caliber player or he will lose his team; especially considering he is scheduled to sign another fat contract this summer.

As a former defensive player, there are few things that piss me off more then a over hyped, pansy-ass QB questioning the toughness of an entire team. And don’t think that when Brady doesn’t preform this year and to avoid the media talking about his obvious decline, misses several games with a sprained left pinkie that those guys who make less then a tenth of his salary, banging around in the trenches, wont remind him of this.

Tom Brady, Assume the Position

This pretty little school girl is one of the main reasons why the Patriots have won 3 Super Bowls this decade, and he will be the main reason why they will inevitably collapse. Coming off of one of his worst statistical seasons, Tom Brady decided to skip voluntary workouts because he is boxing in L.A. Yes, that’s right; the little princess that could is boxing. While I am sure that his sparring partner has already been flagged for several hundred 15 yard penalties and Brady has filled numerous spit buckets with tears, Brady maintains that his workouts at the Beverly Hills Boxing Gym (because nothing says boxing like Beverly Hills) are along the lines of what Chad Ochocinco did last season to help improve his strength, stamina, and hand-eye coordination.

What Brady needs to do is get his ass to New England and start working with his team. Unless he wants to be remembered as the guy who took his team to 18-1 and was ripped apart by the Giants’ pass rush (the most epic choke in sports since the 2004 ALCS), then never recovered from his knee injury, he has a lot of work to do, but he would rather prance around L A pretending to be a boxer. If he had half of the work ethic that Peyton does or Joe Montana did, he would be in camp throwing hundreds of extra balls to Moss and Welker ever day, watching film with his O Line, working with the coaching staff and backs on how to get them more involved in the offense, and even talking with the brass on what the f*ck they were doing bringing TE Alge Crumpler in instead of a legit pass catching target.

Maybe this guy has already done enough to find his way into Canton,  but I can guaran-freaking-tee you that Brady has lost his edge to the point where there are more than 5 or 6 QB’s in the league that I would rather have leading my team. Prove me wrong Nancy-Boy but I actually watch the film, and from where I am sitting, I can see the string dangling from your tampon and can’t wait to watch you get picked apart over the next few seasons by guys who still give two shits. Quick reminder; NO ONE is bigger than this game, even pretty little school girls like you; you’re welcome.
