I thought the Bengals had cleaned up their act and were trying to shake the “gang” attitude that they once had. Over the course of a year (June 14th, 2006 to June 17th, 2007), the Bengals had 13 arrests. (Not to mention the recent arrest of rookie LB Rey Maualuga for a DUI) Well apparently not…
The Cincinnati Bengals are interested in signing Adam “Pac Man” Jones. Yesterday the troubled CB worked out for the reigning AFC North Champs. To me this just seems stupid. He is a problem waiting to happen and coming off such a good year there is no need to pay any attention to him. Time and time again Pac Man has shown that he can’t keep himself out of trouble.
In other Cincinnati news, the Bengals are reportedly interested in WR Matt Jones. Jones, who was suspended for the last three games of the 2008 season for violating the substance abuse policy, has drawn interest from the Bengals and the Titans. Once again, WHY Cincinnati? Jones was never productive for Jacksonville so why even give him a chance to mess up what you have going? I just don’t see the logic in trying to bring either player in. With all of that said, I have to give credit where credit is due, both would greatly increase the Gang Status, so if that is what your going for Cincy, job well done.

Also for a title, I would have gone with “Trying to ReGANG Status”
But that’s just me essey

I question Ray Maualuga’s contribution to the gang status…
Question: Why are you driving a 2003 Pontiac?
If you are going to be in the NFL, drive drunk, and hit 2 parked cars and a parking meter, at least do it in a Maserati or an Aston Martin please.
This is the Bengals were talking about here. Break the law with some level of decency.
