With the worst the All Star games upon us, it is time to take a look at “WTF we should expect to see this weekend”. NOT Peyton Manning, NOT Tom Brady, NOT Phillip Rivers and that’s just the AFC QB list. So who does that leave us? Matt Schaub? Ok, Ill buy that, but Vince Young and David Garrard? This has turned into the All-Schmoe Game (formally known as the All-Pro Game) Vince Young didn’t even play half of the season. This has turned into a huge joke. 31 players who were selected to the Pro Bowl will not be there for the actual game. 5 of the 6 QBs selected will not be there. (Aaron Rodgers is the only one who will be in Miami) You might as well invite JaMarcus Russell and Brady Quinn to South Florida. No one wants to play in the game to begin with and now you have to take out the 14 players that are in the Super Bowl. Not to mention they took the game out of Hawaii, which is (and has been) America’s nostalgic-post-war-vacation spot and moved it instead to Florida, where old people go to die. Listen, I’ll give the NFL credit for trying anything to bring some life to this game, I really do. But, the truth is the game will suck regardless of when it is held. At least let it suck after the Super Bowl where at least Manning and Brees could have played in the game.
